1. About Indiagram

Indiagram is a civic intelligence platform that enables citizens of India to report, verify, and engage with civic issues anonymously. The platform is intended for lawful civic journalism and public interest reporting.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By using Indiagram, you represent that you are a natural person (not a bot or automated system unless explicitly authorised), and that your use complies with all applicable laws.

Indiagram is not a substitute for verified journalism. Content submitted here represents individual citizen observations. Do not submit content you know to be false. Fabricating civic reports is a violation of these terms and may constitute a criminal offence under applicable law.

5. Anonymity and Identity

Anonymity is a feature, not a shield for illegal activity. While we protect sources, we will comply with valid legal orders requiring disclosure. Anonymous users remain legally responsible for content they submit under Indian law.

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting, you grant Indiagram a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and share your content on the platform and in aggregate, anonymised public interest datasets.

7. Trust and Moderation

Indiagram uses a trust-level system (L0–L5). We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or flag any content that violates these terms or is flagged by the community. Accounts may be suspended or banned for violations. Moderation decisions may be appealed by contacting moderation@indiagram.in.

8. Disclaimer

Indiagram does not verify the accuracy of user-submitted content. Content on this platform represents the views of individual contributors and not of Indiagram. We make no warranties about the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose of any content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Indiagram shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any content on it.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified 30 days in advance.
