How YouTube counts views on videos and Shorts
Views are the first number people see on any YouTube video or Short. This page gives you a small free views trial on one public video, so you can watch how delivery works before you think about a paid pack.
A view is counted when someone starts watching a public or unlisted video. YouTube checks views for quality, so the public number can pause or be corrected for a while, especially on a new upload. That is normal on every channel, not only boosted ones.
Shorts and long videos are counted separately. A Short shows its count in the Shorts feed and on your channel's Shorts tab. A long video shows it under the title. In YouTube Studio you will also see watch time and average view duration, which matter more to you than the raw number.
The free views trials and how to claim
There are three small free options at the top of this page. They are kept small on purpose so you can see the service in action at ₹0.
On the video, tap Share, then Copy link. For a Short, use the share arrow on the right. Paste the link into the box and press claim. You never sign in to Google or give us any password.
- 10 free views, standard option
- 10 free views tagged Refill
- 10 free views on a third option for comparison
- Each offer once per person, one claim per minute, daily limits per person and per link
What to expect after claiming
Your order is sent straight away and normally starts within minutes. On a new video, YouTube may hold the public counter for a while as it checks views, so the number in Studio can move before the public page does.
Keep the video public or unlisted until delivery is done. If you make it private, set an age restriction or delete it, the views cannot reach it. On options without refill the count can settle slightly later.
Getting more organic views on YouTube
Most views on YouTube come from search, suggested videos and the home feed. Those depend on people clicking and then staying. A small free trial does not change that, so spend your effort on the click and the first 30 seconds.
- Design a clear thumbnail with one face or object and three or four words at most
- Put the main search phrase near the start of the title, written the way people type it
- Start the video with the promise, skip long intros and logos
- Use chapters on long videos so viewers can jump to what they need
- Turn the best moment of a long video into a Short that links back to the full video
- Add end screens and a playlist so one view leads to the next
When a paid views pack fits
If the trial looked fine, the paid packs lower on the page offer larger amounts, paid by UPI QR. Look for the Refill tag and the refill period on each service if you want counts topped up should they dip.
Paid views can make a new upload look less empty when you share it with friends or clients. They do not replace good videos, and they do not add meaningful watch time or change how YouTube recommends your channel.
Safety for your channel
All we use is the public video link. We never ask for your Google login, Studio access or a verification code. Anyone who asks for those is not someone you should trust with your channel. Read YouTube's policies and decide for yourself whether a growth service is right for you.
Questions and answers
Can I use the free views on a YouTube Short?
Yes. Open the Short, tap the share arrow, copy the link and paste it in the box. The link usually has youtube.com/shorts in it, which is fine. Shorts views show on the Short and on your Shorts tab.
Why is my view count stuck after claiming?
YouTube sometimes pauses the public counter on new videos while it checks views. Studio may update first. Wait a few hours and confirm the video is public or unlisted. If the count still does not move, contact the help centre with the video link.
Does an unlisted video work?
Yes, an unlisted video can receive views because anyone with the link can watch it. A private video cannot, because only people you invite can open it. Switch it to public or unlisted before you claim.
Will free views add watch hours to my channel?
Do not expect that. The free trial is about the view count only. Watch hours depend on how long people watch, and we do not promise any watch time, subscriber change or effect on the YouTube Partner Programme.
What does the Refill tag mean on a views trial?
Refill means that if the count drops within the refill period shown on that service, it gets topped up. Options without refill can settle a little after delivery, which is normal on free trials.
Can I claim views for a live stream or premiere?
It is best to use a normal uploaded video or a Short. A live stream or a premiere that has not started yet may not accept views properly. Wait until the stream is saved as a regular video, then claim.
