How Game Maker works

  1. Pick a game. Four fast arcade types that anyone can play in seconds.
  2. Choose a look. Retro 8-bit, neon, comic, pastel, Indian festival lights or space arcade.
  3. Be the hero. Your selfie, your pet or a mascot, drawn into the game.
  4. Share and compete. Every game has its own link and its own top 10 scoreboard.

Questions

Is it free to make a game?

Yes. Guests can make one game a day. With a free Indiagram account you can make up to 5 games a day, save them in My games and share them.

Can I use my own photo?

Yes. Upload a photo or take a selfie and Priya cuts you out and puts you in the game, as you are or drawn in the game style. Photos are checked first and must be of you, your pet or your own character.

What kinds of games can I make?

Four fast arcade types that are easy to share: Dash Runner (jump over trouble), Tap Flyer (tap through the gaps), Cloud Climber (bounce up forever) and Catch Rush (catch the good things, dodge the bad). Each comes in six looks.

Do my friends need an account to play?

No. Anyone with the link can play in the browser on a phone or computer, and post their score on your game's own top 10.

How do I earn from sharing?

When a new player opens your share link and plays for at least 30 seconds, Priya credits a small reward to your Indiagram wallet, up to a daily limit. Sharing alone does not pay, real plays do.

Can I use famous game characters?

No. Every game Priya makes is original, so famous characters, brands and logos are left out.
