Privacy policy.
We collect very little. We sell nothing.
What we collect
By default, almost nothing personal:
- An anonymous session token — a random string (e.g., "ind_a7f3...") stored as a cookie on your device. This identifies your chats without identifying you.
- A hashed IP address — we never store your real IP, only a hashed version, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
- Your chat messages — what you type and what the AI responds, associated with the session token.
- Your user agent — your browser/device type, for compatibility checking.
If you choose to use a form (notify-me, contact, takedown, request), we'll also collect what you give us (typically your name and email).
What we don't collect
- Your real name (unless you give it on a form)
- Your phone number
- Your location beyond what your IP roughly implies
- Google account info (we don't use Google sign-in)
- Any third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel)
- Anything from your device beyond the cookie and user agent
How we use it
To make the site work. Chat messages go to AI providers (Google Gemini, Groq, etc.) for processing and come back as responses. We don't use your data for advertising targeting, product training, or anything beyond delivering the service to you.
How long we keep it
- Chats: 90 days from last activity, then auto-deleted
- Session tokens: same as above
- Form submissions (contact, takedown, etc.): retained while we work through them, then archived for record-keeping
- Anonymous analytics events: aggregated and kept indefinitely; individual events are pruned after 90 days
Who we share it with
- AI providers — your messages are sent to providers like Google (Gemini), Groq, OpenRouter, etc. for processing. They have their own privacy policies. We rotate providers based on availability.
- Google AdSense — Google may set cookies and collect data via the ads on our site. Their policy here.
- Hosting provider (Hostinger) — server logs include hashed IPs.
We don't sell your data. We don't have a "data partner ecosystem." We don't pass anything to anyone except as listed above.
Your rights (under DPDP Act 2023)
- Access — you can ask what data we have about your session by writing to info@indiagram.in with your session token.
- Correction — you can ask us to correct anything wrong.
- Deletion — you can ask us to delete your session and all associated data. Or just clear your cookies.
- Grievance — if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, write to the grievance officer (KD) at info@indiagram.in.

Children
This service is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has used the service, please contact us at info@indiagram.in and we'll delete the relevant session.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here.
